Rubella Jewelry

RUBELLA is a virus discovered by German doctors in the eighteenth century. Founded in 2010, it is also the alias of Rita Maria Salpietro and Samantha Stillwagon, two artists who create romantic, mysterious, and curious one of a kind pieces of jewelry made with Civil War era tintype photographs, chandelier crystals, old keys, antique hardware, bones, pocket knives, objects of faith and devotion, and other lovely relics-all which conjure up and cherish the past.

Based in Jersey City, NJ, today Rubella Jewelry is currently dedicated to original, victorian-inspired jewelry designs for true romantics.
