"At it's essence, art is an alchemical process. Alchemy is a process of transformation.” - Julia Cameron

Our designs are cast locally in New York City with recycled, ethically sourced brass, formulated specifically for jewelry. We use solid yellow brass, which resembles yellow gold. Over time, moisture and skin contact can eventually cause tarnishing, but the piece can always be polished back to its original tone and shine using a jewelry polishing cloth, one which is included complimentary in every order of our brass jewelry. For an extra cleaning, experiment with cleaning using an old toothbrush with baking soda or tomato ketchup. It can work wonders! Since the pieces are solid with no plating, there is no finish that can rub so feel free to scrub away.

Our gold-fill chains are chains dipped in 14k gold, the layer of gold being much thicker and longer lasting than an item that is "gold plated". It is also safe for those with metal allergies.

For the best care for your jewelry, we recommend removing jewelry before swimming, bathing, applying perfumes and creams, and before doing strenuous activities. For storing between wears, we recommend storing pieces in the box or fabric bag that it comes in.
